Okami: Hey everyone! Meet my muse!
Un-named muse: *glares*
Okami: Come on Kori! Be nice!
Kori: *glares*
Okami: I'll force-feed you sushi if you don't behave...
Kori: ... *glares*
Okami: *sighs* Okay. You're not going to be nice are you?
Kori: *glares*
Okami: Fine! I'll just do it without you!
Kori: *glares and walks off*
Okami: Sorry about that, everyone! He's not having a good day! Hopefully he'll be a bit nicer for the first chapter. THIS IS JUST A PROLOGUE! ... Here's the blah-stuff for ya!

SUMMARY: It was supposed to be a simple mission... Well, simple for a B-rank, anyway - deliver a scroll to the Hidden Rain Village in return for a Konoha Jounin. But when the Rain leader decides to change his mind, the mission turns into a disaster for Naruto. What will the consequences be?

DISCLAIMER: Naruto and it's characters, Jutsus, locations and scenarios belong to the wonderful genius: Masashi Kishimoto. I own Moya-san, and certain bits of other characters such as Kouryo-teme and the ANBU who get their asses kicked XD

'Three days. 72 hours. 4,320 minutes. 259,200 seconds.' Naruto couldn't help but work out these values in his head. 'Three days since it happened. The normally happy blond sat in a tree. He was on a mission given to him by the Hokage, Tsunade. It was supposed to take him about 2 weeks to complete the mission, but here he was, 8 days to go before the deadline, and already half-way back to Konoha.
The mission had been fairly simple - take a special scroll to the Hidden Rain Village, in return for one of Konoha's Jounin, who had been kidnapped a week and a half before.
But it hadn't gone to plan...

Kori: Is that it?
Okami: *gasps*
Kori: ...?
Okami: You spoke! And you didn't glare!
Kori: *glares*
Okami: Heh...
Kori: Why is it so short?
Okami: Because it's the prologue... The next chapter's gonna be much longer... And a flashback...
Kori: *shrugs* Fair enough.
Okami: *grins* Shall we go then?
Kori: ...
Okami: We gotta type up the next chapter!
Kori: Okay. *walks off*
Okami: Thanks for reading! Next chapter should be up within a few hours... *looks at Kori's rapidly disappearing form* See y'all later! Hey, Kori! Wait up! *runs off*
